bull
A person who thinks the stock market will rise. A perma-bull is permanently optimistic about the market, regardless of the market's performance.
Ed is a bull so he bought stock even as the market was falling.
A bear think the stock market will fall. A perma-bear is permanently pessimistic about the market.
shark
A person who cannot be trusted in business.
Avoid buying a car from Jim as he is known to be a real shark.
Variations include card shark (one who cheats when playing cards) and loan shark (one who charges extremely high rates when loaning money)
tiger
A person who is very aggressive and successful in business.
Sam has become a real tiger in the five years since he joined the company.
dog
A product that doesn't sell well.
Molly admitted that three of her company's products were dogs.
Workhorse
A person who works very hard.
